Initiative in collaboration with Unicoop Firenze, members section of Castelfiorentino, to get to know our territory and to promote well-being in practicing sporting activities.
Partiremo dal bellissimo borgo di Petrognano per immergerci nel territorio di Semifonte, oggi solo un toponimo di una località fra Certaldo e Barberino, nota per una cappella, riproduzione in miniatura della cupola di Firenze, ma un tempo città fortificata, tanto potente da far credere ai suoi abitanti di poter sfidare Firenze ….. “Fiorenza, fatti in là che Semifonte si fa città” … fu completamente distrutta, ma ancora oggi è possibile scorgerne i segni della sua grandezza.
Sarà l’occasione di scoprire piccoli borghi e tesori artistici ormai dimenticati, godendo di panorami mozzafiato sulla Val d’Elsa.

Organization and coordination of activities; assistance with an environmental hiking guide pursuant to LR 86/2016 and subsequent amendments. The Guides are in possession of the civil liability insurance required by law. Participants in the excursions are NOT covered by personal accident insurance.

Transfer costs, meals and anything else not explicitly mentioned in the program.

What you need for excursions:
Compulsory equipment:
Comfortable shoes with sculpted soles (the routes are easy but comfortable shoes with well sculpted soles are still recommended) (NO sandals and shoes with heels or wedges), backpack, water (at least 1/2 litre), a small snack, hat, any rain clothing (waterproof jacket, backpack cover).
Recommended equipment:
Trekking poles and camera.
