Occasione per percorrere, “dal Borgo alla Francigena”, il nuovo tracciato comunale che permette ai pellegrini che decidono di partire dalla stazione ferroviaria di Castelfiorentino di raggiungere la Francigena.

Ci ritroveremo di fronte all’Ufficio Informazioni Turistiche di Castelfiorentino e come novelli pellegrini saliremo verso il crinale delle nostre colline per incontrare il tracciato ufficiale della Francigena e da qui, accompagnati da panorami bellissimi e da tante testimonianze storiche, raggiungeremo Castelnuovo d’Elsa, passando dalla maestosa Pieve di Coiano.

What you need for excursions:

Compulsory equipment:
Trekking shoes or shoes with sculpted sole, backpack, water at least 1 liter, hat, any rain gear (waterproof jacket, backpack cover).

Recommended equipment:
Trekking poles, sunscreen and camera.
