This is a trekking route aimed at those who want and love walking and discovering new itineraries.

Unpublished route that will see the departure from Montaione and through a beautiful tour we will reach the majestic Pieve di Coiano, and then continue up to Castelnuovo d'Elsa and attend the party.

The excursion we propose, partly a bit wild, will allow you to discover a new, unofficial route that pilgrims probably once followed to reach the Francigena.

for hikers E (inline route; length approximately 14.00 km; positive difference in altitude approximately 120 m; negative difference in altitude approximately 370 m).

Compulsory equipment:
Trekking shoes or shoes with sculpted sole, backpack, water at least 1 liter, hat, any rain gear (waterproof jacket, backpack cover).

Recommended equipment:
Trekking poles, sunscreen and camera.

Possibility to have lunch at the "Mensa del Pellegrino" in Castelnuovo d'Elsa.
